I thought I would share this story from my neck of the woods, as it was documented by the Fort Worth Gazette in 1884. It was also passed down locally through my family. Thats the stuff dreams are made of. I love stories like that. Stuff like this should compiled and put into book form . thanks for sharing.

Your welcome. That article is in a couple of books but I can't find them. I have a microfiche copy of the original publication. I'll post some more that are just a few miles from my home.

I get out that way a bit. Been working some stuff around there and about to head out again after Christmas. Hoping to find something to contribute to the museum in Nocona.
