Documented Spanish Cache found 1884

I thought I would share this story from my neck of the woods, as it was documented by the Fort Worth Gazette in 1884. It was also passed down locally through my family. I screen shot the article from the internet. I could not get a good photo of a copy of the original I have. Enjoy!

Thats the stuff dreams are made of. I love stories like that. Stuff like this should compiled and put into book form . thanks for sharing.

Your welcome. That article is in a couple of books but I can't find them. I have a microfiche copy of the original publication. I'll post some more that are just a few miles from my home.

I already have this one on file. I have hundreds like this on file. Compiled by my historical research of over 40 years. I WAS thinking of putting them in some type of book form?
