Short answer: The Dodge Brothers were car makers before Dodge joined Chrysler. The Star of David was used between 1914-1938. I don't (yet) know which year or model this came from. For the long answer, see this link: http://www.allpar.com/history/logos.html

the Chevy is a radiator shell cap emblem from the 30s, seen one new on ebay( thanks nhbenz ) went for a bit over 70 bucks new. the bottom part is gone from mine. my mom had a ex boy friend years ago and he had a old junk yard with all kinds of old cars. with the $$ i seen on ebay that some of these thing are going for, it might be time to sneak out there and start prying :-\ ;) thanks for the reply,s. :)

For a minute there I thought you had been detecting in a wrecking yard. Sounded like me detecting around a recycling center. Mopar (Chrysler) still have a 5 pointed star stamped on their products. Maybe they just abbreviated it. At least it's stamped all over my 68 Plymouth GTX
Cool finds!!! HH
