Your button back mark is generic and the maker is not known. It most likely dates from about 1810-1840 and doesn't have a lot of monetary value because of the shape it is in. It would have been gold dipped three times when made. It could have been made here but probably came from England.

Those are called flat buttons. Flat buttons aren't worth much because most of them are plain, but they are still collectible. My dad dug one like that, and a few others with different backmarks.
