The Bounty Hunter Platinum? This really looks like a nice machine and I would like to hear from someone who has used it, or is currently using it. Is it true that this is made only for sale at Cabela's? Seems strange........? Any of you bounty hunters got any info on this great looking machine?

No i don't know any thing about it but i went in to web sites looking for it and the only place i could find it was in....Cabela's web site.....==Jim==

I believe the platinum is an exclusive, made for Cabela's to sell for the holidays. If you're looking for a great machine, the time ranger is hard to beat

If it is only for sale for the holidays what's going to happen to the Platinum after the holidays? Seems strange to make, what looks like a nice detector, just for the holidays. Maybe they will be 50% off after Christmas......

I'm not sure, but, the 26th of Dec. isn't that far away. I just had the chance to look at it online, I like the looks of it, I'm going to do some investigating.

well, I did get some info. Nobody seems to know much about it, including BH . from what I've found out, it's not much different than a landstar, just a different housing, and more expensive, sorry

Hey Sniffer, thanks for the info. Kinda disappointed though, thought it was something new that had some possibilities. Looks like BH just "re-packaged" one of their own for Cabelas. I am becoming a rabid Minelab fan anyway............
