Does anybody know if this is a cannon ball?

Hi, I don't know anything about cannon balls so I was wondering if somebody could tell me if this is one? ?I think it is brass and it has a plug where the 2 holes are. If it is does anybody know what the value could be? ?Thanks for any help in advance.
