Does anyone dredge or hi bank in Australia?

Was wondering about the public accessible goldfields were you can buy a propsecting permit. Are you allowed to Dredge or hibank on them or only metal detect?

I know in the past several years they could highbank but not dredge. things are always changing though.

No dredging anywhere at anytime for many years---hahaha like folks obey insanity. Hibankers were under attack last few years but nuttn' on google or posted lately. OZ miners gone from forum now?John
