J.C. Wolfer (or J.G. Wolfer)
operated a dairy farm in Brighton, N.Y. (Monroe County), with milk bottles from this operation often featuring embossed lettering, including "J.G. Wolfer Brighton NY". These bottles are considered collectible, particularly from the 1940s, with examples including half-pint and quart sizes, often described as hard to find.
Key Details of J.C. Wolfer/J.G. Wolfer Bottles:
  • Location: Brighton, New York (Monroe County).
  • Era: Bottles, such as the 1949, 1/2 pint embossed version, exist from this period.
  • Types: Embossed round, clear glass bottles.
  • Collectibility: Identified as a "hard to find" bottle from the Brighton area.
  • Variations: Bottles can be found in 1/2 pint and 1-quart sizes.

A one-quart
J.C. Wolfer milk bottle
from Brighton, NY, is a relatively hard-to-find collector's item and typically sells for approximately $20 to $30 USD in good condition on the sellers' market today.

This member has made at least 28 posts since November wanting help on various things, but mostly bottles. I think all of them have been answered by other members, but so far he has not said Thank You, or even acknowledged anybody's help.Is a simple thank you too much to ask?
