Replaced. Call Minelab.

I called them early this morning, but they said they would have to call me back. I haven’t heard back so I thought I would ask here.

Call them next business day.

Since the cable threads onto the control head/pod, how did the cable get pulled off without damaging the control socket?

There are male pins on the inside of the control head, and at the top of the cord. Just the top of the cord pins pulled out and broke.

Coinhunter,

If you haven't yet, try this number...

Steve
Called again several times today, and now they don't answer their phone. Left a voice mail, still no call back.

Number is not manned many times which is why the recordings. Jamie who was customer service is no longer with Minelab so they are short a customer service rep now.if you dont reach them at number sgoss gave you let me know, I have other ML numbers but I want post them on open forum.

I finally got through and they say it can't be repaired. I just ordered a new coil from Bart, and am getting new rods from Steve.

We live in the "disposable" age for sure.

Coil cables and coils are not designed to be repaired, only the connector that screws on to detector.

Good luck hope you get it fixed

Thanks all, I'll get it fixed and back to detecting again soon.
