Hi, I found this item on a permission in Chester (UK) and thought it must have some age to it as it has a nice patina to it after cleaning, also you can see where the edges have been shaped and wondered if anyone has any ideas of what it could be and what date from, it would be very intresting to find out, thankyou for looking and happy hunting :)

Member Crusader would be your best bet on an I.D. on your item.

A strap end.....or leaf shaped arrow head or just an oddly shaped stone

What's it made of? Point of a pike or spike?

Is it metal? Tent stake or bayonet tip, maybe?

im guessing its made of bronze, its got some weight to it for a small piece & the edges are still fairly sharp on the sides.

I'm on Cru'Dads PC & can't open the pictures on his slow internet connection, so I will look later on mine.

However, it looks like it might be a Bronze Age item, might a Spear point.

Now I've had a closer look, it's not a Spear Point. Can't really help on this one.
