✅ SOLVED Does anyone knows what part of a ship is this and what was used for?

Hi..I have recently found this object while Scuba Diving in what I suspect to be a wreck site.. I don't know what part of a ship and what was used for and I'll appreciate is someone can help me identify it.

I figured this one out.. It is what in present times we call a "Chain plate" which it is the thick iron plate bolted to the sides of the ship to which the chains and deadeyes are attached in a sailboat.
