Does Or Has anyone used a original Gold Bug?

Does anyone use or has anyone used an original gold bug? I got one a few weeks ago still brand new in the box. I went out today to give it a try and it is so different from what I had (mxt) I am having a really hard time using it. I guess I am so used to the other way im sure it is me. Does anyone have any hints or anything at all that might help me in learning this machine.

Setting ground balance with the coarse and fine GB adjuster pots is critical to have the GB spot on. Therefore one must rebalance the GB frequently. Find a manual for it so you know how to adjust it and then practice, practice, practice and once you've learned how to do it keep practicing as that is the main secret to that machine. I had one some time ago and that is the best advice I can offer. Good Luck.............63bkpkr
