✅ SOLVED Does this font look familiar?

It looks like a couple of scrap lead pieces were mushed together and then as a whole it was smashed over something that had raised lettering.
Does the font / letters look familiar to anyone? " owne"
I suspect this is only part of the whole name.
Its about the size of a U.S. quarter.
What is the name from? A large button? A tool handle? Car part?

Good ID. The Walter M Lowney Company was founded in Boston in the early 1880s. This is the trademark they filed for in 1968, as LOWNEY'S rather than the earlier unregistered LOWNEY mark:

Looks like somebody used the bonbon spoon as a ladle for melted lead.
