The stone is very solid and cannot be wiggled. I have never seen any other upright stones so rectangle shaped anywhere in the region.
Yes I am aware of that and have seen those. In this area they are usually 6-8” tall and about 6” wide and have engraved on them there correlation to the section. This stone has a turkey foot engraved on top.Upturned stones were also used as property corner markers back in the day
