found this tag today on the plantation is 1938 sharp & dohme philla. pa. # 48799 vaccinated against rabies with mulford vaccine.

was this for a dog, or some other animal?

Dog tag. It was 1938, they wernt giving rabies shots to cats or bunnies back then
