✅ SOLVED Dog Tax Tag?

I found this small oval tag in my daughters back yard in Winston-Salem North Carolina (Forsyth County). It's a first for me, I'm excited that it has a date and location. Is it a dog tax tag or some other tax tag? This is only one of the many "good" finds I made in about 45 minutes.

Yes, that is a dog tag!

FYI ~ the oldest known dog tag from Forsyth NC is dated 1915

Thanks for the quick ID! The home was built in the mid 50's so it fits. I hunted part of the back yard for about 45 min before I headed back home to Florida. The other good finds were:

One 1946 Quarter, two 1962 Dimes, six wheat pennies ('44,'45,'46,'51,'57,'57), a large beat up medallion dated 1960 and a quarter sized copper coin of some sort! Plus a dozen other newer modern pennies, nickels, dimes and quarters. It was the best hunt I've ever had! I can't wait for my next visit!
