For those of you that have not looked closely at Plehbah's new avatar photo, please do. I was incredibly saddened, yet happy for the man in the photo. At his worst, without a home or probably a penny to his name, he still has the loyalty and friendship of this dog, which I can guarantee provides him comfort during the long days on the streets.

I have a 10 month old Golden Retriever and a 6 month old German Shepherd, and I am very thankful that I have them. They can both be a hassle at times...tearing up shoes, tracking mud through the house, and jumping on people when they come over. But when I have had a long day at work or I am just not in a good mood, these guys always seem to make it better. My Shepherd like to sit next to me and put his head under my chin, just like in the photo, and it is amazingly therapeutic.

So today's thought from me is give your loyal companions and extra bone or extra hug today and be thankful that you have them.

Here are my two

you have the cutest dogs:)

I have 2 old dogs...a boxer (Billie..she loves to sing when I blow the harp) and a shelter dog that's part chihuahua and sneaky neighbor dog, his name is Stosh. And they are a very important part of my life!

yeah, plehbah's avitar reminds me of the song "Feed Jake" by the pirates of the mississippi, (I think)

Feed Jake, he's been a good dog, my best friend thru it all.

If I die before I wake, feed Jake.

love that song.

Dont know what I would do without my little terrier isabelle,, she is a loyal friend and companion!!!!

Are you sure that the man in the avatar isn't Plehbah himself?

I believe that is his Whites DFX detector next to him.
Not many homeless folks own one of those.

I know he would not be offended by the comments however.

Yep, I looked online and found the original photo of just the guy and his dog. Plehbah added the detector, as he has done with several of his previous avatars.

Oh so his last avatar with the guy laying down on the floor in the corner by the detector wasn't Plehbah either?

He sure had me fooled. :laughing7:

I havent been around long enough to know Plehbah, but it sounds like he is having a rough time. He will be in my thoughts tonight.
