For those of you that have not looked closely at Plehbah's new avatar photo, please do. I was incredibly saddened, yet happy for the man in the photo. At his worst, without a home or probably a penny to his name, he still has the loyalty and friendship of this dog, which I can guarantee provides him comfort during the long days on the streets.
I have a 10 month old Golden Retriever and a 6 month old German Shepherd, and I am very thankful that I have them. They can both be a hassle at times...tearing up shoes, tracking mud through the house, and jumping on people when they come over. But when I have had a long day at work or I am just not in a good mood, these guys always seem to make it better. My Shepherd like to sit next to me and put his head under my chin, just like in the photo, and it is amazingly therapeutic.
So today's thought from me is give your loyal companions and extra bone or extra hug today and be thankful that you have them.
Here are my two
