Don't Forget Those Narrow Median Strips!

I never pass up those city median strips, even the real small ones! Today I pulled out $4.09 in clad, a silver quarter, and 3 wheat pennies! I've had quite a bit
of luck in these narrow grass strips that run next to the sidewalks over the years. Always check them out!

Those easements are a must to search. I have found some really good items there. I have found a lot of Wheats and silver on the sidewalks.

If I get an iffy "yes" when I get permission to hunt a yard, I will leave the sidewalk easement for last in case I am asked to leave. I hit the front yard usually first on these occasions, especially around the walkways and I do it quickly but neatly.

I pulled an 1898 Barber quarter from one of these strips in approx 1980 in the old part of my town in XF condition. It was only like 2" deep?? I thought it was a bottle cap it randpg up so loud...

You would be amazed at what you can find in a parking strip. You never know what you'll find including coins...
