don't know if this was ever asked, how do you guys find marbles

I've been collecting them for over 50 years, gave away most of them, but I find them metal detecting, dump digging, I also clean stuff out of house when people sell them and find them in houses, I never bought them, the craziest places I find them is under floors

I have found marbles in plowed fields when searching for relics. Both old glass marbles and clay marbles.

In plowed fields and at a Civil War period house foundation. I haven't found many.

I've found them in plowed fields while hunting arrowheads and while metal detecting, not many digging dumps, some while tearing down old houses, antique stores, marble shows, mostly ebay, facebook, friends find them and bring them to me.

I think I just get lucky and I always keep my eyes open. Are you talking about glass marbles or clay marbles?
