Pretty Dope! I've tasted various types of dope in my day, I'm from Northern California, but never dope in a bottle. Wonder what exactly it was? Obviously soda but what flavor dope?

From what I've heard, this was slang for a soda back then. It was kindof a slight against Coca Cola, which actually had "dope" in it.

Yeah, I remember Daddy referring to a soda as a dope from time to time. Nice score. You'll see these pretty regularly at bottle shows across the South.

Up North, or at least North of Tennessee, they are almost unheard of.

Dope was made from 1909-1911, and in 1911, it changed it's name to Birmingham Bottling Company.
