Found on an Ozark hillside in my community, (where I found all the musket balls and the Trade Point earlier this week.) A nice double bladed axe head with no visible damage, only rust from 100+ years in the soil. I also found what appears to be a tractor radiator or fluid reservoir cap in the shape of a chrome shield. It has the patent number 1,638,038 on the reverse. I also found a nice iron buckle for horse tack, I believe, with all the moving parts that still move. Two nice, fired .36 caliber pistol balls a bit of modern ammo and few brass items to round out the hunt. Nothing spectacular but it never gets old digging up antique tools! Happy Hunting, Sub 8-)
