Double die/die crack ? Utah quarter

Found this in the change drawer at work.. I orginally bought it from the drawer cause of the really nice shape it is in for being circulated.. is this considered a double die an there is a tiny peice coming off the neck lower left..is that from a die crack? thanks for your help!

That's interesting. I'd take it to a coin dealer that you trust and see what he say's. If he wants to
buy it off of you, I'd keep it. Put it in a folder of some sort and don't handle it anymore than you have to.

It looks to me as a die cob.A piece of metal the die left after striking the coin.
