Hey everyone

These finds are what I came up with over the weekend in about 6 hrs of hunting at a few older parks with my brother

We decided the night prior to go to a place we had hit yrs ago and found some nice old coins and relics. It didn't disappoint in the first half hr I had 5 old coins and my brother had three.

Ended up that day with the first Pocket spill a strange one. Two 1943 centavo coins cool but not exactly what I'm looking for but I'll take them

The better spill came the following day Sunday actually when we decided to check on another park. When we arrived it didn't look to great but we decided to venture into the woods within
15 minutes I had a high 90s tone on the deus

Actually registered a 99 on the deus at one point and at about 8 inches a big black disc shows it's face. I call my bro over and say check this out. I go to recheck hole and another screamer is coming through the head phones and out pops a nice slq didn't care if I found anything else for the day

I also recovered a counter struck large cent last week. Can anyone read what it says. S something but not sure. Robinson maybe? Any thoughts or ideas appreciated

Thanks for viewing

Jer

Looks like some great finds to me. Congrats.

Wow great condition on the silvers man! You are a coin killer out there. I literally dig maybe 4-8 silver coins a year. So seeing hunts like these is pretty amazing to me

Man you got some sweet Silver. I love finding Silver Halves but that Standing Liberty Quarter is the find of the day.
Congratulations

wow, great mix of coins, and big coins too!

was the Barber half dipped in chrome after being found?

I have a roll of wheat backs that someone gave me that don't look as good as those. All the ones I find are corroded as heck, cannot even get a date off of them most of the time.

Nice finds Jeremy! What does the token with the old car say?

Hey I got a silver Washington quarter in my change Friday night :laughing7:

Thanks guys

Yes the slq was a good one. Didn't wanna clean it to much. Didn't wanna clean the barber half that well. But the back side had a very stubborn iron staining that was covering the entire back side and would not come off.

Yeah abe, your 8 Silvers are tree coins though lol. I'm just pretty patient and will rework and rework sites because you can never really clean them out

I had a three silver morning today at a park that we didn't think would give any more Silvers

Nice Steve silver in change is a rare thing anymore. The token wasn't anything special one of those Sunoco tokens from the 60s I think

This is the best time of yr to be out. I'll be pushing myself over the next few months.

I would love to get my coil over a Barber half. It will probably elude me forever. Nice digs

You'll get one man

Stay positive with all those great old coins your finding I'm surprised you haven't found one yet. I can tell you that there easier to find than walkers. It will come when you least expect it

HH Jer

You found some very nice coins. Love the stander and the Barbers. Congrats

Excellent finds, you you sure dug some great stuff. That SLQ is a beauty
