double silver at "BIG DEEP" Woodstock, NY---- plus a 99 VDI--- Oh, my---what is it??

the famed nudie swimming hole of days gone by is now just a family site

with cool temps the parking area was vacant--- so, time to hit the forested floor for the dropsies, bottle caps, and other copious trash in hopes of THIS-----



then a nice qtr hit at a tree base-- nestled in pine needles--







weighs 3.7 grams, a size 7 with nice patina

a buck in CRAD, a pouch full of BC's ----- and the last hit chimes in at 99 at 9" down ------ 15 minutes of rock & root fun, at repose under a 15 pound river rock--- lies my last dig of the day

Around 1970 in the 'Gunks' near New Paltz on a creek,there was a all natural bathing and rock slide area that had some wonderful sights to see.
