Down in the dump.

I wandered around the old bottle dump with the XLT for a couple hours today. This place is loaded with junk metal and I was able to pull a few good targets. The find of the day was an 1899 Barber quarter. The other finds were - 1893 & 1902 IH, 2 lead seals, 3 buttons, lead object and one bottle. It is embossed - OXIEN TABLET PILLS THE GREAT OXIE CO. AUGUSTA ME. SOLE PROPRIETORS. The other side is embossed with an ox-man with a club. There's a lot of embossing on such a small bottle. It was good to get out but the dirt is starting to get cold on the fingers. Thanks for looking! DD.
