I'm checking maps first, for targets you should be able to find metal detecting 2 ft or less deep. Again, probably too many hits to be only coins/relics.....I'd check the red circle spots with a gold detector also.

For metal detecting down to 2 ft, check the red circle areas.

Yellow rectangles were first hits made for placer gold and probably deeper, then the yellow circle areas. Black circles a concentration point, where the signals seemed to be the most concentrated.

If you get any larger takes, than this (again from your 1st gold pan pic but cropped down even more) or quartz gold specimens, of course I'd like to see some photos.
