Some kind of hallow copper ball, rings like a crotoal?( help with I.D. Would be greatly appreciated)

Nice hunt!
Have dug many halves over the years and they don't survive as well as the One Penny Tokens do-for what ever reason I have no Same composite metal-but totally different outcomes.
But over all your 1/2 came out as most do from wet/clay.
