Decided to think outside the box for old relic hunting, an hour and a half out side lol. All the older areas here are newly developed.

Obtained permission at some old property and was rewarded with some cool finds.

1917 half dollar and 1919 wheat in the same hole. Rang up a scratchy 85 on the AT Pro because of the wheat in the hole.
Boy was I surprised seeing the baby pop out!
1st half dollar ever!!!

2 mercs 1943 & 1923

6 wheat cents, oldest being 1919 (found with 1/2 dollar)

Handful of memorial pennies

Silver broach marked sterling. Dinged it with my shovel on the back but managed to save the clip

8 service buttons not sure of the age, but found at about 7 inches all in about 10X10 area. I was thinking a good ol tussell happened there

A neat little game piece, not sure what game

6 ornate flower things

I was invited back to finish off several other properties there. To show my gratitude I bought him a 12 pack on the way out.

Can't wait to hit it slower with stock coil, I was running with the 5X8 and hitting silver dimes at 7+ inches. Ground was moist and could dig through it like butter.

Thanks for looking!!!

Wow that is a fantastic day of hunting! Congrats on a great site and good job on the gift for the person who made it possible

What he said! That is a great day right there!

Those are finds dreams are made of. Congrats

SUPER finds!!! Way to go on the large silver. :hello2:
I wonder if all those buttons came off the same jacket? May just be missing 1 cuff button. :dontknow: I know those buttons are post 1902 (or 1903).
Can't wait to see what you find next. Great haul. :occasion14:

Looks like old military barracks!

Great finds, love the walker and the Merc's!!

Way to Go! You Scored Dude!

Outstanding day guy ! Looks like you were hunting an old WWII military barracks site - your finds seem to support this as well - the well worn
silvers in the teens - would likely have been dropped in the early 1940's - the buttons support this - so does the game piece ! Hey could you
put up a closer pic of the six "floral" looking things ?

what an excellent day. fantastic finds. congrats on that first half!

Here they are a little closer.
On the backs they say "4886 or 9886"
