Can any of you help Mr. Pepper? He ordered a 4 inch dredge in Alabama. The guy he ordered from got in two. One is a single stage and the other is a three stage.
Mr. Pepper is not sure which one to buy. The guy whom he ordered from said he had a three stage once and sold it for a single stage because it was to much trouble to clean up. Any advice would be appreciated. Mr. Pepper has to decide by Thursday.

Thanks in advance,
Pepper

Well the single stage is easy to move because its lighter, but doesn't do that well on fine gold.. The 3 stage is heavier but has some great redeeming values.. The first stage comes out and thats where 90% of the gold will be and also makes it easy to see if your in the gold or not.. You don't have to clean all the stages untill you done... The 3rd stage is the lowest one will capture the super fines that the east has.. So if your out for a few days clean the first stage everyday and you only have to clean out the other 2 stages when your done..(or into a lot of gold!!)

;D EZ 1- over under anyday!!!! Keep the discharge end OUT OF THE WATER-or you cause back pressure that kills your o/u configuration. Get a blaster nozzle too, ifn' ya' don't use one-your not really dredging-just a mutzin and a putzin-Tons a au 2 u 2-John

Thank you BOTH! You've made our decision much easier. I've been reading the links sent to me and they are a huge help also!
