What is the average and max percentages for claim owners, dredge owner/operators, divers, and tenders (no diving) ? Do they get a cut after expenses or from the total take ? What is the most fair split for all, if there is one ?

Thanks.

Claim owners who do nothing to support the op usually get around 15% under a pound but more if more. Helper cuts are dependent upon experience and if they provide their own equipment(regulator, wetsuits, weights etc). Fair is in the eyes of the beholder, worst I ever paid for a total noob is 10% and most 30% for experienced relief diver with his own equipment on my claims using my dredges. Many mixtures to be taken into consideration. #1 trouble spots are booze, drugs and women as nuttn' but danger and underwater mining has more than enough already-John

I would think claim owners would get 10-20% off the top, depending on your agreement. Helpers (divers, tenders and what not) would only get a cut after expenses. I have no real world experience in regards to this though, it's what I have seen, read and such. All % in the gold would be determined before hand. Making sure all parties are present during all stages of clean up would also go a long way in dispelling any thoughts of dishonesty.

I appreciate the replies !
Thanks !
