Shame about #2 but at least you have both pieces. When I was 19; a friend and I were hunting and I found a drill. About 3 hours later we were at his house standing on his front porch (which was concrete). He asked me for a cigarette and when I pulled the pack out of my pocket the drill fell out and hit the concrete and broke. We managed to find both pieces. I let him have it. Lesson learned; I never put anything else in pockets if artifacts are there.

I found both pieces a few months apart sifting a Little Rock shelter the one and only time I’ve found both parts of a broken tool speaking of broken drills, might as well. First two are the separate pieces that don’t really look like they should match… the rest are just brokes

Lots of great drills from all of you.
In most cases I can identify a drill, some styles still elude me. I can’t always tell a small blade from a drill when there is no neck extension. Posts like this teach me a lot. Thanks to all who shared.

here are three relics I found in the same field with my old hunting buddy, who passed a number of years ago.

the two stubby drills are drills that I think are used up. I don't see too many like this, so small.

these both came from the same field.

The micro drills you find are they the "Addison micro drills"?
