I don't think it was commercially made I think that was homemade and I think a maker would be almost impossible to determine as for age I would think 50+ years old maybe closer to 70 years.

Yes, but what a great piece of folk art. On the lighter sideā€¦ Iā€™d say it was owned by Elijah Peterson. These being the two most common first and surnames in the US beginning with E an P. šŸ˜‚ Where did you acquire it. Iā€™m just wondering from a folk art history viewpoint. Attached is a shot of some miniatures Iā€™ve collected

Thanks to both of you. I got it at a swap meet in Mount Dora, Florida, which is about 20 miles from Orlando. Thanks again.

When i used to hunt ducks with my buddies we would paint our initials on the bottom of our decoys so we could get them back to the right owners. Like your pictures, We each might have 12 to 15 decoys each \
