WOW. only took 10 minutes to identify it! Does it still work?

the whistle part is missing... but other than that its in great shape... I think its a pheasant... I have seen ones on ebay of a peigon and quail... some places are calling them toys...

now I am wondering of they are toys or real bird callers... and of course how old are they?

P.S. I bet a whistle part could be made easily... now that I think about it they must be toys... how could they make different sounds with the same whistle part.

They were toys (lead!!! how did we survive) I may be wrong but I believe water was put in the "bowl" part beneath the bird and it would make a warbling sound.
