Dug 40 coins 3 hours at Fair grounds!

Spent 3 hours at the older part of local fair grounds, didnt pan out as far as the older coins I was tryin for, but I did dig 40 clad peices plus a few other goodies, in the 3 hours I was there. I love this spot, large, old, gets lots of use, and not hunted much

I know there has to be some, its been a park/ 4-h fair grounds since the 60's, just got bigger over the years.

Going back soon, such a large area to try to cover, its going to take all summer+ some! Cant neglect my other spots!

Good Job!!......Fairgrounds are always good for recent and old clad drops.......AND old fairgrounds are excellent for old silver coins and older jewelry......I have hunted a very old County Fairground, since 1970, that dates back to the 1850's, with excellent results of Seated and Barber silver, Indian cents, shield and V Nickels etc. ........Good Luck!!
