I was out hunting a 1787 house that has had tons of soil moved around over the years. In most places you have to go really deep to get to the good stuff! Coolest thing to me was the little charm camera.. the lead WWI Doughboy and what sort of looks like an early iron guard from a sword. I don't think that is what it is... but it looks like it.. so into the tank it goes!!

No coins.. no buttons.. but they have to be there someplace!!!

i know ya said charm but is that a working camra?? i dont think they would have film that small. looks 50s. willy

yep those are working cameras. They were sold in the 60's. I'm not sure where all they were sold but you could get them at the zoo and some museums and tourist attractions like that. I think I still have one or two around from when I was a kid

Nope! but I wish.. there were the little "spy cameras" made by the Japanese in the 50s and 60s.. I have a couple in my camera collection.. this is a charm or some other small piece of jewelry. It was late.. I was beat so I didn't post anything to scale.. but it is about 1/2 the size of the small working cameras. I post some more pics today..
