Dug captains uniform

This was found folded up in low ground on a hospital site near the battle of Seven Days.

Very cool find, the water and mud preserved much of the uniform.

Edit: I didn't mention that I didn't find this. It was found before I was born back in the 60's I think.

That is truly a once in a lifetime find. Well Done on preserving one great piece of CW History. Being found in or around a hospital site makes one wonder if the poor captain was among the wounded and if so if he made it out alive. Thanks for sharing this with us. Truly remarkable.
