Found this today at an old homesite that has now produced 3 civil war buttons. It is about the size of a lipstick tube. I would like to find out how old this thing is.

Well, it has an image of the Eiffel Tower so it's post 1889

The dancers look 1930 ish to me.

Is it cotton/naptha or butane?

Well it's too corroded on the top to tell much about it but is does have a screw hole in the bottom if that helps.
