Somewhere back in the archives, probably in the Tokens & Tags section, I wrote up a bit of a story on these. They are generic trade tokens, usually used by a general merchandise store, either while waiting for their order of custom tokens to arrive or as the only type of tokens for the business. Their problem was that a number of different stores used them and there was nothing keeping one store's credit from being used in another store.

I think these were generally used ca. 1910 - WWII
