That's crazy! Just goes to show you that you never know what your going to pop out of the sand. Too bad there wasn't a few gold rings in it!

I know right.. A couple of the quarters are 65 also a couple 67 and 69.. When I started seeing those dates I thought I might find silver too bad

Nice finds. What kind of tone or reading did you get on your detector with all those coins in the pouch? I've been planning to test some jars of coins and see how they sound with the At/Pro and the GTI-2500, but just can't seem to find time lately.
Thought it might help me if I ever stumble across a cache.

It sounded like a big copper or brass target... I honestly thought it might be a bronze ship spike at first

It was completely stuffed full of sand I thought I was going to dump out nothing but sand for a brief moment I was really excited when I saw they were very discolored and stuck together.. I would have had higher hopes if it was an old silver jewelry box instead of a fanny pack lol
