Dump bag with a STEEL!

Well, saw this one through the bag and got my hopes up, but plucked it out and they were dashed:


Weighs 3.2 grams, so its plated. Started pulling more wheats, was quite happy. Realized that I stumbled onto another dump bag! But this had 14 from before the 1940s!! 280 wheats later, and this was the prize:

Was a great day. Somewhere through this bag plucked my 2,000th wheat since I started, and I still have 2 more bags to go! Great week so far! Happy hunting everyone!

Those bags are heavy, better be careful. I used to have a Ryedale coin sorter and went through countless bags. I filled my empty $500 half boxes with coppers. Then I pushed all those boxes neatly under my bed. I finally ran out of room under my bed. But another problem arose. I started having pains, so I went to my MD. He said I had a hernia and he could operate in a couple of months. Like I said be careful. When I got the bags I had to carry to my car, then carry of stairs to my 2nd floor apt, then process them, then carry bags back to my car, then take to my dump bank. That means if a bag weighs 25 pounds I have to lift and carry four times.

That is why I no longer do cents.

Rosco: nice job on the early wheats. I'd say the 1912 is VG-F condition. Keep it up, more waiting to be found.
