Deep Silver Seeker 3000
Primary Interest:
All Treasure Hunting
For all of you E-Trac users (which there is becoming more and more), I have recently made a discovery that there is some sort of radiation that the E-Trace gives off that may cause cancer in users. I strongly advise ALL E-trac users to sell their E-tracs and purchase the Bounty Hunter :help: . They are healthier for you and me ;D

So its time to take the plunge before the season gets to full "swinging"

Thanks for your cooperation! :laughing7:

I have already made the change. :hello2:

Jon, I REALLY appreciate you looking out for everyone. When you told me about your recent discovery, I immediately got myself a new detector. This thing is wonderful. I have already managed to pull out two IH's as well as a 1913 Barber dime. I haven't posted my finds yet, but will soon.

Here is a picture of the new and MUCH safer machine.

You know what guys, I was so moved by your "above and beyond the call of duty" in looking out for other detectorists that I made an anonymous call to the department head for the FP's and told him about the health risks for the operator and the general public, he asked if I could give him the names of everyone with an Etrac so they can warn them of the danger they pose to themselves and the public. So I was more than happy to help out by giving them the list.

I must say they were also interested in getting all the names of all the detectorists that I knew but seeing as its just the Etrac users that were really in danger, those were the only names I gave them.

Stay safe everone and happy hunting... ;D

I always heard the e-trac's cause massive head swelling. Hope it's not true.

Massive head swelling may explain alot about some people on here.... :laughing7:

Whew! Thanks for that informative post, Jon. I was SO CLOSE to purchasing an Etrac, but because of your post, I will now use my hard-earned cash to purchase a National Geographic detector. I mean, when it's all said and done, they all sound off on metal, right?

That's what friends are for.

Joe

That's it, I'm off to get a Harbor Freight stud finder. Can't be too careful.

Wow Jon. . . thanks for the heads-up. . . I just sold ALL my detectors
this afternoon (can't be too careful) and opted for one of those "silver-tipped"
dowser pendulums. I got a sweet deal on it too!
It's guaranteed to find whatever I want it to :icon_pirat:

Soooo. . . you better watch out. . . I'm out for the gold now :-*

Wow it just so happens i am an authorized radio activity disposer. Sooooo anybody who whats to send me there E-trac you can fell confident it will be taken care of properly.

Oh man, you could be just like this guy. - Funny video, check it out!!! :laughing9:

Yeah,
I hear the strange tumors that form from certain E-trac frequencies cause tumors that may attract "backer inners..."

I'm charging the batteries for my prizm III right now. It's a lot easier to swing than this radioactive etrac. Do you think I can still sell my etrac on ebay or is the general public aware of the dangers?

This is all just nonsense. I'm tired of it. I have a good time with you guys who use ETracs and look forward to your ETrac Pride Parade this June 27 in Chicago. Seems once you get an ETrac, all you need is a good probe..... Frequently....

Hey, my Whites have found the goods on many an occasion that the Etrac has missed.
And if I wanted to listen to a Jethro Tull or Focus flute solo, I'd go to a concert! :laughing7:

These guys rock!

Hey to anyone thinking about getting an E-Trac, don't listen to all this radioactivity nonsense.
My dermatologist says that my skin rash should clear up in about 3 weeks or so if I keep putting this expensive cream on it.

Oh and just to make it clear what kinds of finds you can expect to be getting if you take the plunge and get an E-trac, here's a pic of most of the goodies I got just today... my E-Trac makes it really EASY to find this stuff!

My rash is clearing up too! Except its not on my cheek. :dontknow:

Isn't there a an old WW2 training film about that kind of a rash and how to avoid it????

OK I'll have to fess up...
I did get a questionable signal over those keys and decided to not dig it but I did ask Lowbatts for confirmation. I was getting one of those bothersome silver dollar or gold ring kind of bouncy signals which I never dig - I mean, those are usually too deep to make it worth while. I prefer the mem cents or the old screw in fuses within the first 3 or 4 inches. So much easier to get out of the ground and then on to the next piece of junk.

As soon as I have the back of my pick up truck full of this stuff, I'm gonna bring it to the recyclers. I'll bet I can get about $6.37 for a full load.
