EAGLE Medal with, shield, stars and MORE!

Was out briefly with Vermontis this morning near an old calvary horsemanship training building circa 1909.
This was also the site of an old wood framed riding arena. In the past I have dug civil war relics here.

Looks like a nice Fob. May be military related with that design. Great piece.

Nice find. It appears to be an old watch fob and has 13 stars representing the 13 states so it could have some age

I think that is the Great Seal of United States, adopted 1902.
