The weather was great yesterday. Plus 8 and sunny. I finally got out for a afternoon hunt and the digging was great. The ground was super soft in most places. I went to a old cellar hole site that i knew the long grass would be down for sure. I was hoping for some old silver or military but i knew it was slim because of the type of farm site i was on. It was mainly a quiet area for hits except lots of oxen shoes but as usual there was no shortage of large coppers near the foundation. When they first came out i thought they would end up in great shape by the look of them but they deteriorated fast by the time i got home. It was great to get out and the weather looks good for awhile yet. In the end i got a really big 1813 one stiver, a rough 1815 halifax broke token and a nice 1843 New Brunswick half penny token. I cant complain about no old silver because i luckily found a 1700’s sterling spoon already this year to keep me satisfied. Thanks for looking! [emoji2][emoji106]
