early 1900's whistle stop

Just one of many interesting days in this area.
.. Every one of these items were picked out of an area completely covered with broken up rusty iron... From small flakes to big chunks it's everywhere like a carpet.
Iron discrimination on 0... On my AT Pro

Pretty cool artifacts! I like the old meat clever. Tell us more about this site.

It was a whistle stop for a town that no longer exists on what was a section of railroad that just came through there for the first time in 1904.. It was no longer in use by 1930

As always great collection dude

Thanks man.. Got totally tore up by fire ants yesterday out there.
I kneeled right in an ant mound by accident while digging a target.

Cool little find today!!

Looks like the old Celestial Railroad area, been meaning to go there myself, at least the parts that you can still get to and haven't been built on.

Yeah it's definitely a challenge out running progress
