Recently acquired this saber, high confidence it's Confederate. Now the fun, can anyone help me with identification beyond what I've been told that it's a "Dog River" variety. Looked at several pics of early (1st model) Froelich a.k.a Kenansville and from the length 40.5" and guard I'm curious to get any feedback on my conclusion.
