Nice bunch of finds Art. What is the ornate piece in the middle of the first picture?

Nice finds. Id say that buckle is definately 1700s maybe 1600s

You might be surprised to learn that these have quite a early date range....1500-1650..nice find.

Think it's from a dagger. I have dug one and seen similar posted a few times.

The "lighting fixture?" piece is a dagger hilt from at least the 1700s... ugh... WOW!!! :notworthy::hello2:

It looks like you have a good early site, for your side of the pond.8-)

Never dawned on me that it could be a hilt. I usually think horses but this might be a zebra. Thanks for your input

I agree it does seem to be variant of that form of buckle.

Wow. Man you have an old site. I'd camp out there. Thats cob country all day long.

Nice work Art, you hunt in some good old areas, cool finds.

What a great buckle, Art. Congrats on your finds. -Lisa & John

Very nice Art. To find relics from such an early site is incredible. Congrats to you Mister.

Nice and early buckle bud. Actual age will be difficult to figure, but I bet you can count on it being a 17th century drop. The dagger looks a bit newer - 18th C.

Wow man! Congrats on some killer finds again!

That's a heck of a nice Buckle Art.
