This is either early, or late, depending upon your interpretation. DEC 7 is sunday.

I sent this for Christmas 1942, while on the Guadalcanal campaign.

Real de Tayopa,
your card from 1942 brings up the date 7 Dec.

------------------------------------------------------------
7 Dec 1941

Seems like fewer and fewer remember; sad that
many, of those that were not around, have no respect
for that date, and it is slowly being forgotten.

My late Dad was on Okinawa in '44 - missed the big fighting, lucky for me.

I've visited many of those island campaigns via first hand accounts by Veterans in the books they've written. It's just mind-boggling what they went through.

You just can't look an an older (or younger) person and know everything that they have experienced.

God bless our Veterans!

Merry Christmas to you as well mi amigo! Also thank you oh so very much as always for all you have done for us!! ~hugs~

thanks Joe :)

Wishing you a wondeful Christmas!

Merry Christmas!

I'm too young to remember, but I certainly appreciate the sacrifices made by so many!

Thank you for serving! May your life be as rich and wonderful as you deserve!

Thank you my friends, it was to honor those that gave up their lives so that our
constituion & The US, would survive, but unfortunately, the present group are determined to replace or eliminate it as being out of date.

Thank you for your service Don Jose. The world owes your generation a great deal.
