Early US button dug in maine Rev War?

Dug this button in Maine a couple of weeks ago. It measures 20mm.
It appears to be made of lead or pewter. No backmark and doesnt appear to ever have had one.
Is it a rev war button? War of 1812? Any ideas?

Your find is a US Army "general service" button, cast one-piece pewter, issued to troops from 1808 to 1830. Listed in the button-book by Alphaeus H. Albert as button GI-30.

Indeed it is. Nice old pewter, I call em 1812s
