[against the wind]

I attended the East Coast Research and Discovery Association's Seeded Hunt in Ocean City, New Jersey, the weekend of May 20th & 21st, 2017.
This is my second seeded hunt and I had a blast. My buddy "digging brains" and I hope to make this an annual event.
There were 2 adult hunts on both Saturday and Sunday. There was also a kid's hunt on Saturday that left a lasting impression on both the kids and their parents. What a great way to portray the people who enjoy this hobby. Here is a picture of the kids I worked the sand with. They both came home with prizes. (All of the kids get something).
I also included a few pictures of some of the prizes I came home with as well as other weekend activities. What a wonderful time and good people.

Cool! Looks like a nice time for all and the kids hunt had to be a treat. Looks like great finds and prizes. Good time to meet old friends and make new ones too!

It's the Ocean City, NJ Music Pier built in 1928,,
It was rented for the weekend by E.C.R.D.A to provide shelter for the event participants.

Man, I haven't seen that many detectorists in all my years hunting combined. Nice finds.
