My finds are most modest but these are the first ones I have found using my TDI (first time using it). Thinking of taking it to DE next week, along with my AT Pro. Surprisingly, I found the TDI to be more intuitive to use than the AT Pro. Anyway, 4 pennies, totally messed up. Found in the strip of land between sidewalk and street. Also found a Corona beer cap and a large S hook. Pretty sure the stuff Fairfax Co. VA uses for ice/snow is pretty potent.

They are sure in rough shape but still nice finds!

That is quality currency. I hate zincolns, but ya gotta dig 'em sometimes.

Keep digging them, you will be rewarded one day

Looks like the kind of stuff I bring home. LOL

I find tons of coins like that in my area its unfortunate ive really noticed it with coins from the 80's seems things werent better back then atleast metal quality in coins..

My bank told me to wrap them up and they will send them out. They give me a penny for a penny.

Those are what we call three quarter cent pieces...

new post 1983 zinc based with thin copper overlay Lincoln cents ..they start to dissolve about as soon as they hit the ground

Congrats on finding some goodies! :occasion14:
Always love the look of toasted pennies. I got some really strange ones like you.
