Well still searching for my first silver of the year, 5 wheats so far. Here’s what’s been popping out,

This was a pretty deep 20 signal. It is actually a bicycle emblem from the Duquesne Mfg. Co. They made bikes in Pittsburgh for 2 years, 1897-1898.

This guy gave a pretty strong signal (21) on the slope by a cellar hole.

All I could find was this link, and reference to a cereal ring.

I thought this find was a tiny lead token.

The What’s It forum team figures it out to be a seal from an olive oil container from France late 1800’s.
This was my silver dime signal after a brutal hike near the city.

What’s It team is thinking either Fire Brigade plaque or potentially a carriage license (license 157, 4 horse team, good for 1898)
Here a some buttons that popped out.

Handful of keeper junk

Two more odd finds.

The “C” printing press plate or typewriter piece was in the woods near an old cabin site and the other mystery item was near it.
And YES, the first spoon of 2019.

Good luck out there!
